DW (Deutsche Welle) is a group of media. Deutsche Welle means in English is: German Wave.  DW has several kinds of publications. They have online publication including radio and television channels. Its headquarter is in Bonn, Germany.

They have 30 languages publication. It also an English language TV News Channel. But it has also in Arabic and German languages. The channels concentrate on news and information. These channels are broadcast on satellite and produced from Berlin.

DW was first launch on August 1988 as RIAS-TV, then relaunch as DW TV on 1st April 1992. Then Deutsche Welle relaunched their television channels on 6 February 2012, using the abbreviation DW for all its services. Deutsche Welle also revamped the television schedules.

DW has popular online publication: you can visit that here. Moreover their Bangla Service also very much popular. They sometimes arrange quiz and several kinds of program for their listeners and readers. They have German learning programs also via online.

DW-TV is broadcast via the satellite of AsiaSat 3S, Insat, Nilesat 102, Atlantic Bird 3, Hot Bird 13B, AMC-1and Intelsat 9  also. DW-TV is also available on the Internet. It is also a trusted name of the  people of Middle east, Africa and Germany.

Its news contains in various sides: say for example; Business, Car and Sports, Culture, Documentation and Feature, Life Style and Environment, Current News and Politics, Talk Shows, Science etc. Its broadcast area are Europe, Middle-East and Africa.

DW TV is one of the most popular channel of those Countries. Near about one thousand million (almost 100 Crores) of listeners and viewers enjoyed its programs of variety everyday. The DW used to operate German lesson programs on their TV Channel.
